Kaiserspan Weinbau, founded in 1990 in Hitzkirch, is run by Edith Mächler-Britschgi and Andreas Bachmann with Sarah, Thomas and Luzia. The sustainably certified estate farms 5 hectares of Riesling-Silvaner, Pinot Gris, Souvignier Gris, Muscat Oliver, Blauburgunder, Zweigelt, Cal 1-28 and Prior, and its Zweigelt Barrique 2023 won the varietal red category at the Zentralschweizer Weinprämierung 2025. There's a restaurant on site.
