Wine estateDomeniile Săhăteni was founded in 2003 by Aurelia Visinescu and Steve Cacenco and farms 82 hectares in the Dealu Mare appellation, on hillside vineyards with clay and chalk soils rich in iron oxide. Grapes include Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Feteasca Alba, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Tamaioasa Romaneasca and Pinot Grigio.
