About

Quinta da Raza, in Celorico de Basto in the Vinho Verde region, was founded in 1769. Its vineyards grow on granite soil with clay-schist areas, on gentle slopes crossed by the Tâmega river, and it farms sustainably with grapes including Azal, Arinto, Avesso, Espadeiro, Vinhão, Padeiro, Trajadura, Alvarinho, Amaral, Gouveio and Touriga Nacional.
