Cyprus
Cyprus has been making wine since antiquity, and Commandaria, produced in the island's mountain villages, is often called the oldest named wine still in production. Vinopanorama covers more than 30 wineries and vineyards across the island, from producers of the local Xynisteri grape to estates reviving old sweet wine traditions. Many are a short drive from the coast, making a tasting easy to fold into a longer trip.
