Touraine bietet rund 150 Weingüter zum Besuchen. Zu den Appellationen zählen Bourgueil, Vouvray, Touraine und Chinon. Charakteristische Rebsorten sind Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc und Côt.
